| Though Estonia got off to a better start, Latvia won the first quarter 18:15. From there on, Latvia was in charge, scoreboard at the half-time showed 33:25. Latvia continued to control the game and before the last quarter, Latvia was ahead 45:34. Last quarter had no surprises and Latvia won the game 72:46.
Best for Latvia was the MVP of the tournament Ance Aizsila, who brought 17 points. Ruta Veidere added 13 points, Agija Kruga managed a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds. From Estonia, there were four players with top score: Trine Kasemägi, Jane Svilberg, Ellen-Anett Põldmaa and Birgit Piibur all brought 8 points. |
