Sweden U18 men left without a victory

Sweden U18 men finished the tournament without a victory, when they lost to Finland 73:85.

Finland took lead in the first quarter with 19:10. They managed to increase the gap even more and the half time ended with 39:27 to Finland. Sweden started the third quarter a little better as they managed to lessen the gap to 8 points, score being 60:52 to Finland. In the end, Sweden could not fight back and Finland won 85:73.


Winners’ biggest scorer was Joonas Lehtoranta with 22 points. Julius Rajala supported the team with 14 points and 9 rebounds, Miikka Luosmaa added 10 points. Sweden’s biggest scoremaker was Johan Löfberg with 17 points. Filip Kovacek brought 14 points and Jesper Eliasson added 12 points.
